The Preparedness Mall in conjunction with ici MEDIA has set up a full suite of reasonably priced web services including the FREE classifieds. Whether or not you've used the web before, whether or not you have a personal or company web pages we have a solution for you.

Services can be purchased through a special online purchase process that allows you to select the items your want whether or not you plan to pay a credit card online. Blank order forms are also provided if you just want to print them and fill them out mannual. As you select items to purchase, they will be put in a "shopping cart" which automatically builds a order form which give you the grand total. After the shopping is complete you can choose to print and fax or mail the order, call in your order, or move on to automatic secure credit card processing. Its your choice. The secure credit card processing will automatically send you passwords and instructions for adding a listing or creating web pages.

Free Classifed Ads
Got something you want to sell? Looking to buy? This is the place! And you can place your classified ad for FREE! for four weeks. This service is for Private Party listings only. All you need is a web browser to type in the information concerning what you want to buy or what you would like to sale. Likewise, you'll be able to go to a screen to remove your ad as soon as you got what you wanted or sold what you're advertising.

Listings - Add to the Mall
The Preparedness Mall is Open 24 Hours a day, 365 Days a Year in order to showcase you company and products. The Preparedness Mall is simultaneously being marketed with the Preparedness Expos and the Preparedness Journal. Thousands and thousands of dollars are being effectively spent for online adverstising, direct mail, newspapers and radio broadcast in the major U.S. cities. All to drive traffic to the shows and the mall. The Preparedness Mall is quickly becoming the most popular online resource for preparedness products and information.

Your company can merchandise its products in the mall by creating effective Ads with graphics and text. All ads will be accessible by a categorical and an alphabetical listing. The categorical listing displays ads on a first come first serve bases. (ie. the oldest paid ad shows up first in the listing). Don't worry about monthly fees or learning about FTP or HTML. A small annual fee will make it possible for you to easily create and maintain you own web page online. After selecting a background, text and link colors, email graphics, and typing in unlimited information about your company, its products and services, a web page will be automatical created that you can change as often as needed! Electronic Commerce
In additional to having websites that list and describe their products or services, a secure credit card process could be set up so that products could be purchased online. Depending upon the number of products and the volume of business, the process could be handled the following ways:

Select for Print:
Products are selected, creating an order form to be printed and Faxed or mailed by the shopper.
Select for Manual Credit Card:
Products are selected, creating a secure order. The vendor is notified of the order which is retrievable securely in order to print the order and process it through normal credit card terminals available to the vendor.
Select for Automatic Credit Card:
Products are selected, creating a secure order which is automatically processed and verified in order to deposit funds into the vendors merchants bank account. This option would require the greatest coordination between the vendor and ici MEDIA for the initial setup.
Many companies will prefer the "Select for Manual Credit Card" or just have the shopper call an 800 number when they have the order in hand. Though everyone is talking about automatic credit card processing, many companies are still preferring to get a hard copy of the order without talking to the customer and process it they way they usually do.
